Welcome to Camp Quest Colorado!

Camp Quest (noun): 1. Summer camp beyond belief! 2. A place for fun, friends, and freethought for kids ages 8-17.

The purpose of Camp Quest is to provide children of freethinking parents a residential summer camp dedicated to improving the human condition through rational inquiry, critical and creative thinking, scientific method, self-respect, ethics, competency, self development and personal growth. Campers explore these ideas through fun hands-on activities. They also enjoy traditional summer camp games, crafts and challenges.

Camp Quest Colorado is one of the newest of over a dozen Camp Quests nationwide.

Camp Quest Colorado is holding its very first sleepaway camp this summer from Sunday July 6th to Saturday the 12th, with 30 campers in the breath taking Rocky Mountains just outside of Estes Park, Colorado. It will be held at the beautiful YMCA of the Rockies campground, approximately 90 minute by car from the Denver area. All food, lodging and activities are included in the registration price, which is $575 if paid by April 15th, and $625 after that. At the camp, All dietary need will be accommodated. The rooms are comfortable, and each one will have 4 campers plus a counselor, and has a private bathroom. Parents are responsible for getting their kids to the camp on Sunday and picking them up the following Saturday.

YMCA of the Rockies is no ordinary camp. It is more like a giant resort, with all sorts of amenities and things to do. In fact, we won’t have enough time to do everything they have to offer plus our own amazing activities. There are so many activities, and campers can choose ones they like the most. Just some of them are: Archery, swimming, air rocket building contest, battle bot building contest, nature adventuring, hiking, science exploration, zip line, horse back riding, tie die shirt making, bead making, camp fires with s’mores and story telling, a dance party, survival skills training, excursions into Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park and more.

For those campers needing financial assistance, scholarships will be available to supplement the cost. Click here for more info, or to apply.

Thanks and see you at camp,
